The Sacramento area has many things to offer for the out-of-town
visitor.   Shopping, golf, casino gaming, and museums are among the
attractions that are within 15 minutes of the tournament site.

A valuable resource for finding points of interest in the Sacramento is
a web site sponsored by the Sacramento Convention and Visitors
Bureau.  Visit the site at
www.discovergold.org.

We've assembled a few lists of area attractions, and links to these list
pages are provided directly below.  In these lists, links to associated
websites are provided where available.

If you have particular interests that do not appear on this page,
please send us a note at
janba2006@sacnisei.com and we might be
able to make some suggestions!  We sincerely hope that you enjoy
your stay in Sacramento!

Hotels/Lodging.  Places to stay while you're in town!

Shopping.  Bring your credit cards!  There is a variety of shopping
malls, outlet malls, and boutiques in the area!

Golf.  Sacramento offers a number of golf courses, many in close
proximity to the tournament site!  There are courses for all tastes,
budgets, and skill levels!

Historical sites.  Visit the State Capitol, historic Sutter's Fort, or
choose from a host of museums and attractions.

Dining.  Restaurants are plentiful in the Sacramento area, as well as
in neighboring Roseville (about 10 minutes away).

Gaming.  For those who enjoy table games and slot machines, you
don't have to drive to Reno to enjoy them!
