1st Annual SNBA Senior Invitational Tournament

This year, the SNBA will be hosting it's first tournament designed specifically for seniors. Last year, the SNBA Executive Board polled our local seniors for input into designing a tournament exclusively for our senior members. The tournament format was based on their responses. We’re anticipating a great turnout for this special event. The SNBA is committed to listening to the senior bowlers, both locally and across the Northern California Nisei community, to better understand their needs. Your participation and feedback will help to provide us with the guidance to make this tournament a success for many years to come.

The 2008 Senior Invitational Tournament is scheduled for the weekend of November 22-23, 2008 at AMF Land Park Lanes in Sacramento. There will be 3 different events within the tournament, one no-tap event (mixed doubles) and 2 regular scoring events (open doubles and mixed team). For added flexibility in the schedule, we will be offering 1 squad of each event on both Saturday and Sunday. We’re hoping everyone comes out to try them all!

63rd Annual SNBA Banquet

The venue is now set for the 63rd Annual SNBA banquet. This year's banquet will be held on June 6, 2009 at Park Terrace Swimming and Tennis Club (5500 Parkfield Court, Sacramento 95822). The dinner will be buffet-style, as it was last year, and activities will include awards presentation, introduction of the 2009-2011 Executive Board, Bingo, and a Raffle.

2009 SNBA Tournament Raffle

On February 7th, the SNBA's benefit raffle was held in conjunction with the yearly SNBA Invitational Tournament. Proceeds from the raffle continue to help support the SNBA's annual JACL scholarship ($1000.00), awarded in the name of the SNBA to a Nisei student selected by the Scholarship Committee of the Sacramento JACL.
